How tight is screwdriver tight?
It means as tight as you can get it if you only gripped the screwdriver with two fingers.
For light screw-driving applications (e.g. driving small screws into soft woods or pre-drilled holes) up to 5 Nm of torque should be sufficient. For heavy-duty screw-driving applications (e.g. driving small and large screws into soft and hard woods) consider selecting a cordless screwdriver with around 10Nm of torque.

Many cordless screwdrivers come with rechargeable batteries, and they tend to range between 4 and 8 volts. Since a cordless screwdriver requires much less speed and power than a drill, these lower voltages are adequate.
If you don't need much tightening force, go for 3.6 to 4 V and a tightening torque of 5 Nm, or 7.2 V and at least 10-15 Nm if you do. Keep in mind, however, that a professional drill driver is usually more suited to your demands in the latter situation. The suggested battery capacity is 1.5 Ah (most common value).

25 nM is "hand tight" in my book. Do NOT use a tool with a long handle on this, if using a socket and a ratchet I would either grab the ratchet by the pivot (not the handle), or use an extension without the ratchet (think like a screwdriver)
A practical way to calculate the magnitude of the torque is to first determine the lever arm and then multiply it times the applied force. The lever arm is the perpendicular distance from the axis of rotation to the line of action of the force. and the magnitude of the torque is τ = N m.
10Nm is not much, it's approximately equal to a kilogram weight hanging off a metre long lever. You can achieve it with one hand on a 1/4" ratchet. If you want to play around and get a feel, set the ratchet to 15Nm and clamp the square end in a vice.
Typically, an under torqued bolt will deform and be unable to provide as much clamping force as needed. An over torqued bolt will break.
